On Wednesday, April 2, 2008, we laid to rest one of our brothers, Erwin P. Sutton Jr.. Erwin "HACKSAW" was a great friend who fought a long battle with cancer that finally took him from us. Almost the entire Central Chapter of the Iron Warriors attended the funeral. We then followed the procession to the cemetary on motorcycles where we reved our engines one last time for Hacksaw. Erwin was 56 years old. May he rest in peace and ride the roads in heaven.
On Saturday, 4/5/08, Hawkeye (Dale King) and Weener left the Cooking for our Kids event in Central and headed north on Joor Rd. Hawkeye somehow lost control of his bike and hit the ditch. After a brief slide, Hawkeye did'nt sustain any injuries but his passenger suffered some moderate injuries to both ankles and her wrist. Hawkeye's bike took a beating too but is well within the realm of repair.
Thanks to everyone the Blessing of the Bikes was a huge sucess. We appreciate all the support from everyone and we definitely are looking forward to a bigger and better Blessing next year. Thanks again from all of the Iron Warriors.
